Ella Fitzgerald, a jazz singer. She’s considered one of the most talented and successful jazz singer of the 20th century. She’s as famous as Billie Holiday.

I’m partial. My favorite song by her would be “I’ve got you under my skin” in her record “Ella at Juan-lès-Pins 1964”.

She led a great solo career, and travelled all over the world. Her Berlin record, in 1960, is famous because she forgot the lyrics of the song she was singing (“Mack the knife”) and scatted instead, with incredible talent.
